About The Firm

Attorney Mark Finlayson is a Colorado Springs native and has been practicing law in Colorado Springs for over 35 years. Attorney Michael Obernesser has been practicing law since graduating from Northwestern University School of Law in 2001, and lives in Colorado Springs with his wife and three children. We believe in providing reasonable fixed fee charges for services such as Wills, including trust provisions within the Will as needed, medical and financial Durable Power of Attorney.

Our goal is to make everything as straightforward and efficient as possible.

We have extensive experience in probating Estates, both contested and uncontested probate matters. We also work closely with families who are concerned about future nursing home costs and all aspects of Elder Law including eligibility for various government programs.

We often find that we can spend one or two hours with a client to map out a strategy and plan to protect the maximum amount of assets possible and provide needed guidance and direction.
